Frequently Asked Questions
New puzzles unlock every day at midnight in your local time zone. There are three fresh games waiting for you each morning — Anagram, Trivia, and Memory Match.
No — each game can only be completed once per day by design. This is intentional! Once you've completed a game it's locked until midnight, when a brand new puzzle becomes available.
Streaks are maintained by completing each game every day. If you miss a day for any game your streak for that game resets to zero. Make sure to complete all three games before midnight to keep your streaks going!
Yes! Every puzzle is seeded by the current date, which means everyone around the world plays the exact same Anagram word, the same 10 Trivia questions, and the same Memory Match card layout on any given day. Great for comparing with friends and family.
You can disable notifications in your iPhone or iPad Settings app. Go to Settings → Notifications → Daily Brain Games, and toggle notifications off. Note that notifications are automatically suppressed on days you've already completed all three games.
No! Daily Brain Games works completely offline. All puzzles are generated locally on your device based on the date. No internet connection is required to play.
No. Daily Brain Games does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your game progress and streaks are saved locally on your device only. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes — Daily Brain Games is completely free. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, and no subscriptions. Just download and play.
Stars are awarded based on how few moves you use to find all 12 pairs. Complete the board in 14 moves or fewer for 3 stars, 20 or fewer for 2 stars, and anything above that still earns 1 star for completing the game.
Daily Brain Games requires iOS 17 or later. It supports iPhone and iPad.

App not showing new puzzles
Make sure your device's date and time are set correctly (Settings → General → Date & Time → Set Automatically). Puzzles are generated based on your local date.

Not receiving notifications
Check that notifications are enabled in Settings → Notifications → Daily Brain Games. Also note that notifications are automatically cancelled on days you complete all three puzzles before 8am.

Streak or progress lost
Progress is stored locally on your device. If you delete and reinstall the app your streaks and history will be reset. Restoring from an iCloud or device backup may recover your data.

App running slowly or crashing
Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, try restarting your device. Make sure you're running the latest version of the app from the App Store.
